About us:

Karen Hardiman has been designing flowers since 1984. While teaching Art, she began working in a local florist, and shortly after opened and managed an award winning flower shop in Princeton Market Fair.
 
In 1998, she opened her first business, The Window Box, a tiny floral and antique shop in Robbinsville, NJ. After three years the business expanded twice its original size, featuring the house specialty, Karen's custom floral designs.  Additionally, customers were offered a selection of Antiques, Collectibles, Home Decoratives, Artisan Jewelry, Candles, Soaps and Scents.

This  award winning shop became a special hub for clients and friends to stop, chat, shop and get inspired. It showcased the latest trends in decorative design and was a place to exchange creative ideas.

In 2008, after 10 years of retail, a need to relocate the business became evident as traffic patterns changed due to the opening of a bypass road. During the interm, Karen continued to fill floral needs ~ Custom Floral Designs, Wedding Flowers and Special Event Flowers from her home studio.  The transition was a success and has provided an opportunity to continue her passion of working in the field of design, while allowing her to work on location in client’s homes.
